CALS Attends the Colonial Beach Volunteer Fireman's Parade

On Friday, June 12, 2026, Calvert ALS participated in the 75th annual Colonial Beach Volunteer Firemen's Parade in Colonial Beach, Virginia. Emergency units from across Virginia and Maryland traveled to attend this event, known as the nation's loudest Firemen's Parade. Calvert ALS joined the parade with Car 10, driven by Deputy Chief LaVigne, and Medic 102, driven by Captain Farr.
Despite rainy weather, many spectators gathered along the streets to watch the parade. The event featured several awards for emergency medical services units. Calvert ALS received the award for Best Appearing Advanced Life Support Unit.
