On Sunday, 20 Oct, CALS responded with A249 to a pediatric trauma. Capt McKeever and A249 arrived on scene confirming one pediatric with a traumatic injury. Capt McKeever and A249 triaged and stabilized the patient. M104 (PMIC Huot) arrived a short time after and assumed primary care and provided ALS care. The patient was packaged, and a helicopter was requested to transport the patient to the OR for surgery. The patient was transported to a nearby LZ where care was transferred to MSP Trooper 7 for transport to an area trauma center.
