2015 Calvert Advanced Life Support AWARDS

The James Richardson Lifetime Achievement Award;
George Wall
This is awarded to a member in recognition of outstanding dedication to the Calvert Advanced Life support and the citizens of the County.

Officer of the Year;
Richard Thomas
This award is given to an Officer, either LINE or Administrative, who has excelled in the performance of his/her duties.

Paramedic of the Year;
Paul Bishop
This award is given to a member who has excelled in the performance of his/her duties in the rank of PMIC. The recipient of this award is selected by the Line Officers of CALS.

Member of the year;
Mike Seneco
The member of the year is selected from the candidates that were selected as the “Member of the Month”. This recipient is selected by the Chief and President.

President’s Award;
Barb Fenwick
This award is given to the member who contributed the most efforts to the President. The President selects the recipient.

Student of the Year;
Rachel Crouch
This award is given to the Paramedic Student who demonstrated the utmost professionalism and showed diligent concentration toward their studies. Award is selected by the Chief Officers and President.

Rookie Of The Year;
Sean Fitzgerald
This award is given to a member who is serving in his/her first year with CALS. `The recipient is an individual who shows initiative and excels in the performance of his/her duties, which reflect a positive manner on the individual and the Department. The recipient of this award is selected by the Line Officers of CALS.

Life Membership;
Paul Lenharr & Danielle Joy
This is given to a member who has been in good standing for 15 years- thereby obtaining life member status.

Initiative Award;
Jake Heipler, Amy Freeman, Jim Bonner
This award is given to a member(s) that demonstrate the willingness and initiative to better the Department through his/her hard work and daily actions. The award is selected by the Line Officers of the Department.
